A corporate identity is the “persona” of a corporation which is designed to accord with and facilitate the attainment of business objectives. In general, this amounts to a corporate title, logo, and supporting devices commonly assembled within a set of guidelines.
These guidelines tell you how the identity is applied and confirm approved color palettes, typefaces, page layouts and other such methods of maintaining visual continuity and brand recognition across all manifestations of the brand. These guidelines are usually comprised into a package of tools called corporate identity manual.
Many companies have their own identity that runs through products. The trademark, logo and slogan will appear consistently on products, packaging and advertisements.
In this article you will see examples of such branding packages which I hope will inspire you in creating one for a client that you have.
